What is running when you are not working?
I asked a room of about sixty women that. Almost none of them had an answer. Real skill, real reputations, real years behind them—and none of them had built anything that did the work instead of them. A calendar that syncs is not a business that runs.
Continuity—If You Own Your Practice
If you took three months off tomorrow with no phone, what would still be working? Everything you know how to do is currently walking out the door with you.

The Third Table Methodology
"In eighth grade, in a cafeteria in Chesapeake, there was a Black table and a White table. I did not fit at either one—both my parents were military, and I had already lived enough places that I did not carry one script for who I was supposed to be. So I built a third table. It is the same seat I first wrote about in Stop Scrolling. Start Creating. Long after school ends, women are still handed two narrow scripts: stay on the treadmill until you burn out, or step away completely. This method is how you build your own table, on purpose, with something real on it."

About
I keep noticing who the room was not built for.
For sixteen years I managed programs across federal agencies, including Homeland Security, the Coast Guard, and Veterans Affairs. I held a TS/SCI clearance and ran eleven initiatives worth roughly $150 million. I was good at it. I also kept seeing the same thing: enormous amounts of money moving, and the people it was meant for still not getting it.
Nobody was coming to fix that. So I started building alongside the job. At twenty-five I founded a nonprofit with a working board. In 2018 my husband and I opened a school for children the existing options were not serving. We closed it while it was still growing and went back to the drawing board.
Everything I make now is built to be easier to enter—plain language, real contrast, and no assumption that every brain processes information the same way. I was told as a child that the way I read was a weakness. I make things now so that no child hears that about herself.
I don't teach from theory alone. What I teach has been lived, built, tested, or learned the hard way. I share it so you do not have to learn it alone.
Why It Works This Way
Nobody builds anything alone. We were never supposed to.
Women are handed a story where doing it by yourself is the proof that you deserved it. I do not believe that. Every single thing I have finished got finished because somebody stood next to me while I did it. Support is not dependence. It is design.
